All records, Custom wheels, New tires, Perfect first car, Title in hand. Tax refund mechanics special. Powerful E39 V8 engine. Little to no smoke from tailpipe. New radiator/expansion tank. All new hoses throughout. New front rotors and new brakes (front and rear). Transmission serviced with new filter. All new front control arms. New spark plugs. New alternator and battery. New tires front. A/C blowing cold and heat works perfect. This is a 540i and was considered a luxury edition for BMW in 1997. Fully loaded features including multi-disk CD, alloy wheels front and passenger air, etc. Car runs good and solid in warm weather. Has a heavy idle in cold weather until warm. Fuel mixture is lean (O2 sensor?) and end caps on intake leaking. Probably gasket replacement. Will need a new chain guard at some point also. For repairs that have been done, they were completed by a certified BMW master mechanic.
