I am the second owner of this 2002 Chevy Impala. I purchased it from a friend in 2014. The car was well maintained and had all the regularly scheduled maintenance done. I bought the car for my daughter as she needed reliable transportation for going to college. Over the past 3 years I replaced the following items on the vehicle for preventative maintenance: Automatic transmission fluid and filter, fuel filter, cabin filter, headlights, spark plugs, spark plug wires, serpentine belt, battery, radiator hoses, thermostat, temperature sensor, all 4 shocks/struts, tires and brakes. I also flushed the coolant system and replaced the coolant. In addition to the above maintenance items I replaced the following items due to failure or wear: Windshield wiper control board, AC/heater blower motor, blower motor resistor, water pump, lower suspension ball joints, front axle bearing and front wheel bearings. I also upgraded the water deflector located above the cabin filter to prevent potential water entry through the cabin filter opening. My daughter has now purchased her own vehicle so I am selling the Impala. It continues to be a safe, reliable, and well maintained vehicle. It's in great condition, runs well, and the A/C is ice cold.
