Description

After almost ten years in our family, our beloved CR-V is up for sale. 181,000 miles, but it drives like it's a kid at heart. With your purchase you'll receive: - A five-door compact SUV with automatic transmission - Power moonroof - Two comfy captains chairs up front and a bench seat in the back - Clever storage all over - Tow hitch (with 2,500lb capacity) - AM/FM radio with 6-disc CD changer and cassette deck - Very effective heater - Air conditioner with lots of potential - Power mirrors and windows - *Some* power locks - Tires, brakes, exhaust, and other irritating-to-replace parts in good shape - A new transmission (as of 2011)! SOME THINGS WORTH MENTIONING: - The A/C compressor-condenser needs to be replaced. If you believe the wind is your air conditioner, you have literally nothing to worry about. - Three of the five power door locks do not work; the driver's door and rear door *do* work, however, and those are easily the first- and third-most important doors. - The 6-disc changer WANTS to work, you can hear it trying really hard, but it had a rough day once and accidentally swallowed a CD that's now jamming its gears. No idea what the CD is, but if you're adventurous, you *can* pry it out and are welcome to keep whatever dad-rock anthem you find. - Kid at heart, but the outside has seen some stuff. Both bumpers have some marks, and she was outside in a hail storm. :( Also, apparently Honda forgot how to make paint stick for a while (right around 2003) and this CR-V shares in a common issue of peeling paint on the hood. // This would make for a great first car or need-to-haul-stuff car, and has been an amazingly reliable daily driver. Genuinely can't imagine this car not seeing another 100k.
