A/C ice cold, Non-smoker, One owner, Perfect first car, Title in hand, Very clean interior, Well maintained,this is a car slim on electronics (see the dashboard pic), which I personally think is a good thing since this is where cars are failing nowadays. It's 1.9L turbo-charged engine was not a option in the drop down list, thus the "unavail" in the ad's engine type. This car is a gem, but after 15 years I wanted a change. If I didn't live in an apt. and have only 1 covered parking spot, I'd keep it. It has never let me down and has had no major problems or faults since I bought it. A/C system stopped working after 14 hot summers, but was quickly fixed in summer 2017. Ignition coil replaced fall 2016. Besides these 2 recent items and a timing belt at @40K at the 10-year mark, there have been no major repairs. Thanks to my careful driving and regular maintenance, this is a sound machine. The alarm started going off randomly about 3 months ago and my Volvo specialist shop, Southwest Automotive, said the part to fix it could not be located. Since then, I've just not used the alarm. The tint is starting to bubble on the side doors, but this is to be expected after 14 summers with the original factory tint. The cloth inside roof cover is starting to un-glue as well.Slight scratches on the bumper from a car leaving a parking spot without looking first that can easily be buffed out. I've brought the price down to reflect these items. New battery Dec. 2017, new front tires due to Firestone recall, Sept. 2017.No major accidents ever. Other than being parked for almost 5 years while I was a starving PhD student up north, the car was mostly used just to make a few, brief trips and for my 6-mile commute back and forth to work. This car is ideal for anyone looking for a VERY safe and affordable car.
